ECDL Advanced is a Level 3 course that provides an expert level qualification to advanced users of Office applications. These include:
WordProcessingSpreadsheetsDatabasesPresentations 

On completion of all four units and as an expert user - the successfully candidate will be eligible to become an Associated Member of the BCS and may use the letters AMBCS after their name.

ECDL Extra is a Level 2 qualification for those who already have IT experience and knowledge. It is broken down into four units:

Word Processing
Spreadsheets
Presentations
Improving Productivity Using IT

ECDL Extra can be used towards a flexible Level 2 diploma

ECDL essentials is a Level 1 course that covers an introduction to IT over three units:

IT User Fundamentals
Using E-mail and the Internet Security for IT users

This is focused on the first steps of using a computer and is aimed at those with little or no knowledge of IT.

AllRound IT is a registered certified ECDL testing centre. We provide ECDL and Advanced ECDL at our Bridgend, Carmarthen, Crosshands and Aberystwyth centres and we also provide training and exams externally at locations to suit individual needs.

ECDL (European Computer Driving License) is an internationally recognised qualification and has become a highly important certification across the UK and Europe. Employers recognise the qualification as proof of ability in computer use.

Here at AllRound IT we are completely committed to providing individual training opportunities to our learners. We offer training during daytime, evenings and on Saturdays.

We offer tutor led classes - with all BCS (British Computer Society) approved course material provided to all learners to keep.

Full ECDL Award

To achieve the full ECDL award candidates must sit and pass all 7 exams. Exams are taken online and results are displayed instantly - practice exams are available free of charge at our centres prior to sitting actual exams. Re-sits are available free of charge.

ECDL Advanced

To achieve the Expert Level status candidates must sit and pass all 4 advanced level exams. Exams are not taken online and are sent to the BCS to be marked externally. Re-sits will be charged accordingly.

ECDL Extra

To achieve the Level 2 Extra award candidates must sit all 4 Extra exams. Exams are taken online and
results are displayed instantly. Re-sits are available free of charge.

ECDL Essentials

To achieve the Level 1 Essentials award candidates must sit all 3 Essential exams. Exams are taken online and results are displayed instantly. Re-sits are available free of charge.
